One of my display cases.

Some James Bond props. Left to right: throwing knife replica from the attache case featured in From Russia with Love; Golden Gun/Walther PPK replica dueling set, with James Bond business card, from The Man with the Golden Gun; Walther P99 (Bond's current sidearm). Throwing knife and Golden Gun created by Steve Dymszo under license.

Close ups of the Golden Gun, assembled and disassembled. This limited edition licensed replica is no longer produced and is exceedingly difficult to find. Many visitors to this site ask where to buy one. Every now and then, they will turn up on eBay, and the memorabilia dealer Reel Art sometimes has them in stock. But be prepared to spend a lot of money....

Star Trek and Terminator 2: Judgment Day props. Left to right: Original series Communicator replica (licensed calculator toy); original series Phaser Type II replica, with strobe effect and digital sound (Richard Coyle); original PADD from Star Trek: The Next Generation; original Klingon knife from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine; Miles Dyson identification badge (T2).

Close up of Phaser Type II.

Close up of original Klingon knife, resin with static aluminum blades.

Top shelf, left to right: Pulse Rifle technical manual; Heckler & Koch VP70 pistol; M-41A Pulse Rifle hero replica; M-40 30mm grenade; Carter Burke Vid-Phone card; mini-facehugger; Gerber MK 2 knife. All from Aliens.

Bottom shelf, left to right: Production still of Harrison Ford as Rick Deckard; C&S Blaster (Richard Coyle); metal police badge; patch; PKD-1 (Doppelganger Productions); Deckard ID and Vid-Phone card; Deckard's credentials and badge. All from Blade Runner.

Close up of PKD-2 (Doppelganger Productions). This is a one-of-a-kind version with metal enhancements and a personal gift to me from its creator, Rick Ross.

The C&S Blaster -- quite simply the most accurate reproduction created of Deckard's sidearm from Blade Runner. Fabricated by the legendary Richard Coyle in partnership with Phil Steinschneider. Read the incredible story behind the recreation of this prop here.

Close up of Deckard's credentials and badge.

Star Wars prop replicas. Top shelf, left to right: Han Solo's Blaster and production still (Star Wars: A New Hope); lightsabers (see below for details).

Bottom shelf: Rebel Fleet Trooper Blaster (scratchbuilt); Imperial Stormtrooper Blaster (converted MGC Sterling SMG replica with real M-38 tank periscope); Imperial Biker Scout Blaster; SinglePoint scope (used in the construction of several Star Wars blaster props).

Close up of Han Solo's Blaster. This piece is no longer in my collection, as I upgraded to the officially licensed version by Master Replicas.

This is an Artist Proof of the officially licensed replica that was given to me by Master Replicas for providing some legal advice on the federal "Look-Alike" law, which requires most replica firearms to be marked with a bright orange plug in the front. I was able to cite a provision that excludes antique firearms from the marking requirements, permitting the replica to remain accurate without an unsightly orange plug in the front.

Close up of Rebel Fleet Trooper Blaster.

More Star Wars. Top: Complete set of Riddell mini-helmets.

Shelf: lightsabers. Left, top to bottom: Obi Wan Kenobi (Star Wars: The Phantom Menace); Darth Vader (converted Heiland flash tube); Obi-Wan Kenobi (rare licensed replica from Icons Authentic Replicas).

Middle, left to right: Yoda (prototype created by Steve Dymszo, who designed the prop featured in the Star Wars Episode 1 Visual Dictionary and Star Wars: Attack of the Clones; Luke Skywalker (Star Wars: Return of the Jedi).

Right, top to bottom: Qui-Gon Jinn (Star Wars: The Phantom Menace); Luke Skywalker; Obi-Wan Kenobi (both from Star Wars: A New Hope).

Close up of the Yoda saber prototype, a gift for my role as the lawyer who negotiated the transfer of the copyright in the design of the saber from Steve Dymszo to Lucasfilm.

Colonial Laser Pistol from Battlestar Galactica.

Left to right: sidearm from Forbidden Planet; Neuralyzer from Men in Black.

Neuralyzer.

Close up of Neuralyzer, with working lights and sound.

Left to right: Forbidden Planet sidearm; Crysknife (David Lynch's version of Dune).

Top shelf, left to right: the One Ring, from Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring; the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, from Monty Python and the Holy Grail; Fertility Idol from Raiders of the Lost Ark; Lament Configuration Puzzle Box, from Hellraiser.

Bottom shelf: Neuralyzer; Wrist Dart, from Predator 2; Assassin Pistol, from In the Line of Fire; Deep Sleep Pistol, from Logan's Run, with autographed still of Michael York as Logan 5.

Close up of the Deep Sleep Pistol.

Close up of the Assassin Pistol, created from a direct study of an original prop created for the movie.

The One Ring. This beautiful 14 ct. gold replica is made by Jens Hansen Studios, the New Zealand jewelers who produced the props for the movie. Display box is the "Chelsea" music box available from Bombay Company for approximately US $35. Chain is inaccurate and has been replaced by the Jens Hansen version identical to the one used in the film (not shown -- available at their web site).

Close up of the One Ring. This replica is virtually identical to the screen-used prop borne by Elijah Wood as Frodo Baggins.

Close up of the Jens Hansen One Ring. My preciousss....

Another picture of the Jens Hansen One Ring. To its right is a licensed replica by Badali Jewelers (no longer in my collection). Very nice engraved replica, but not movie-accurate.

And another picture of the One Ring, times two.....

The folks who sold me the One Ring were kind enough to provide me with some authentication. I believe I was one of the first collectors (if not the first) to obtain this replica from the Jens Hansen workshop. Shortly after my purchase, the workshop offered the ring on its web site for general retail sale, along with a formal certificate of authenticity and a custom display box. But mine, with its personal note and "no frills," carries much sentimental value, since I had to track down the jewelers and convince them to sell me the ring.

Original screen-used business cards from American Psycho.

Original screen-used submarine schematic from James Cameron's The Abyss.

Some Star Wars toys, along with a promotional button that was distributed during the original release of Star Wars. Gerardo Follano's highly coveted Stormtrooper helmet in the center (sorry, he no longer makes this).

The Prop Roadshow -- some pictures of my humble collection as displayed at prop parties.

Replica identification badges from cult favorite Office Space, including one for Initech's newest staff attorney....

Die cast collection, left to right: Dinky SHADO Mobile and Interceptor from UFO; Corgi Buck Rogers Starfighter; Danbury Mint and Corgi James Bond Aston Martin DB5. Back: BMW motorcycle from James Bond: Tomorrow Never Dies.

Ymir statue from 20 Million Miles to Earth, surrounded by various toys and whatnot.

Figures, figures, and figures.... How many pop culture icons do you recognize?
